Fees and Insurance

We believe it’s important to be transparent about fees, so you know what to expect before starting therapy. Knowing what to expect can give you space to show up for yourself and your healing.

Fees and insurance participation vary by clinician. Please see each therapist's information below.

Understanding Your Payment Options

1. What are out-of-network benefits?

Out-of-network (OON) benefits allow you to receive care from a provider who is not contracted with your insurance company. If your health insurance plan includes out-of-network benefits, you may be eligible to receive reimbursement for a portion of your therapy costs after paying for your session. Coverage and reimbursement amounts vary by insurance plan. We recommend contacting your insurance provider to verify your out-of-network behavioral health benefits before beginning therapy.

2. Which insurance plans have out-of-network benefits for therapy?

If you have a PPO or POS plan, your insurance may reimburse part of your therapy costs. Many commercial plans, such as Blue Cross Blue Shield, United Healthcare, Aetna, Cigna, and Humana include out-of-network benefits, though coverage varies by plan. If you have an HMO or EPO plan, out-of-network services are generally not covered. You may also be able to use HSA, FSA, or HRA funds to pay for therapy using pre-tax dollars.

3. How can I use my out-of-network benefits?

If your insurance plan includes out-of-network benefits, there are two ways you may be able to receive reimbursement for therapy: Superbill: We can provide you with a superbill, an itemized receipt containing the information your insurance company needs to process an out-of-network reimbursement claim. You can submit the superbill directly to your insurance company and may be reimbursed for a portion of your therapy costs, depending on your plan. Thrizer: Thrizer is a secure payment platform that simplifies using out-of-network benefits. Instead of paying the full session fee upfront and waiting for reimbursement, eligible clients may pay only their estimated responsibility at the time of service. Thrizer then submits claims and manages the reimbursement process on your behalf. If you have questions about which option is right for you, we're happy to help. 4. Do you accept Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs)?

Yes! We partner with several Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs), including: * Spring Health * Modern Health * Carebridge / AllOne Health If your employer offers one of these benefits, you may be eligible to receive therapy through your EAP. Please contact us if you have questions about your eligibility or coverage.
